Anthony Tuan Phan is currently the Chairman and CEO of AIAIVN, a company that brings together engineers and scientists working from Seattle, the Bay Area (US) and Tokyo (Japan) in major corporations like Google, Meta, Amazon, and Microsoft, with the engineers working in HoChiMinh City & Danang, Vietnam. AIAIAVN aims to transfer new technologies in GenAI and Cloud Computing to be applied in fields such as tourism, advertising, marketing, and education in the Asian market.
Anthony Tuan Phan was formerly a Senior Tech Lead at Meta, in the Machine Learning Core Platform department. At Meta, he led teams developing products like Trust Tiering Platform, Business Integrity Platform, and Next Generation Experiment Platform. The Trust Tiering Platform is a system that manages all ad businesses and ad accounts within Meta's advertising system, with an impact of around $8 billion annually. This system classifies ad businesses and ad accounts, assesses risk levels, and automatically limits advertising quotas.
Before Meta, Anthony Tuan Phan was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Shipping Science of eBay and a Senior Engineer at Amazon Information Security. During his time in Vietnam from 1998-2002, he was also a Lecturer in the Information Technology Faculty at the University of Science, Ho Chi Minh City.
