A/Prof. Daniel Wang is the Co-director of SIT x NVIDIA AI Centre and Director of the SIT Data Science & AI Lab at Singapore Institute of Technology, Singapore. His research focuses on AI and data science, particularly foundational AI models, Gen AI, RAG, NLP, and imaging technologies. He has collaborated with numerous companies on industry projects and has over 80 publications in top-tier conferences and journals such as AAAI, NeurIPS, ICML, IJCAI, SIGMOD, SIGKDD, ICDE, TPAMI etc. His awards include the Best Paper Award at ICPR 2022, the Digital Initiative Award, the Economy Drive Award (both in 2022), and the Best Paper Presentation Award at ACCC 2021, etc.
