Dr Natawut Nupairoj is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. His teaching and research span system software, computer networks, web-based technology development, performance evaluation, big data architecture, and data engineering. Dr. Nupairoj received his Ph.D. (1998) and M.Sc. (1993) in Computer Science from Michigan State University after completing a B.Eng. in Computer Engineering at Chulalongkorn University (1990).
Alongside his academic duties, he has been an active technology consultant for more than two decades. Since 1999 he has consulted several public and private organizations in various industrie ranging from banking, insurance, energy, healthcare, etc. on large-scale system design, performance tuning, and digital transformation strategy. Earlier, he managed high-performance UNIX workstations and weather-data servers at Michigan State University and contributed to Microsoft’s Thai-language support for Word.
A regular reviewer and member of the IEEE Computer Society and ACM, Dr. Nupairoj is committed to bridging academic insight with real-world impact in Thailand’s growing digital economy.
